All Franchisee’s receive an ‘easy to read’ Operations Manual which gives you a comprehensive understanding of the entire franchise system and how best to apply it for success.
The Building Inspection Company Limited will assist Franchisees in obtaining the knowledge and business experience necessary to get their business up and running, to grow, and to help make The B.I.C the definitive name in the building inspection industry.
Ongoing training is available to you at any time if you want more advanced training or just some refresher training. We are committed to the success of our franchisees and firmly believe that our training, support and back-up are key features of our franchise opportunity.
At the first opportunity a franchisee must complete and pass the Level 1 Thermography course held at The Infrared Training Centre (ITC) in Auckland or Melbourne before offering thermal imaging as a service. This is a 5 day course and the cost of attendance and participation (including travel, food and accommodation) must be met by the franchisee.
Level 1 Infrared Thermography Certification
Level 1 certification is the first of three levels of infrared training the ITC offers. Level 1 thermographers generally follow a written test procedure to evaluate specific types of equipment in their facility. They can operate their infrared cameras and software and identify and measure thermal anomalies based on thermal patterns, comparisons with similar equipment, and their own experience.
